Travel Agent Commission Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

This document outlines the standard Commissions Policy for Travel Agents and Advisors partnering with VIVO Luxury Services (VIVO DMC). Our goal is to ensure a transparent, efficient, and rewarding partnership as we deliver ultra-luxury experiences to your clients in Los Cabos.

1. Commission Structure

VIVO DMC offers competitive commission rates on our core luxury destination management services. Unless otherwise specified in a custom Master Service Agreement (MSA), the following standard rates apply:

  • Event & Group Services: 10% commission on the subtotal of the contracted event services.

  • Website Bookings: Commission applies to valid bookings made through the authorized agent portal or designated referral links, or completed directly through our website (vivolx.com).

  • Coupon Code Referrals: 10% commission on services booked using an agent-specific tracking coupon code.

  • Excluded Items: Commissions are calculated on the net subtotal. Taxes (16% VAT), mandatory service charges (15%), processing fees (3%), and third-party pass-through costs (e.g., government airport fees, specific external vendor rentals) are non-commissionable.

2. Booking & Registration Procedures

To ensure your commissions are accurately tracked and protected, agents must follow these procedures:

  • Agent Identification: Agents must identify themselves and provide their complete agency credentials (corporate ID) at the time of the initial inquiry or quote request. Commissions cannot be applied retroactively to bookings originally initiated as direct client inquiries.

  • Manifest Submission: For groups and weddings, a final transportation manifest must be provided 15 days prior to the first service to finalize billing and commissionable totals.

  • Tracking and reconcilation: All bookings are logged in the VIVO Commission Tracking System, which records the quote submission date, client name, and the applicable commission type (Event, Website, or Coupon). To ensure accuracy, agents must submit their own booking records for monthly reconciliation and audit against our system.
